Music runs in the family, and for Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, it was only a matter of time before their paths converged in the studio. The sons of KISS legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have joined forces, bringing their own creative energy to a brand-new project.

While their fathers built anthems that shook arenas, Evan and Nick are crafting a sound that stands on its own. The duo has recorded an albumโ€™s worth of music, blending their influences and musical instincts into something uniquely theirs.

This collaboration isnโ€™t just a nod to their rockstar lineageโ€”itโ€™s a fresh chapter that proves talent and passion donโ€™t always follow the same playbook. With an album in the works, the next question is: what will it sound like?

A Jam Session Turned Full Project

What started as a simple acoustic cover has turned into something much bigger. Late last year, Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons shared a video of themselves performing Simon & Garfunkelโ€™s The Sound of Silence on Instagram. Now, their musical collaboration has taken off in an unexpected way.

Just a few days ago, Evan posted a photo with Nick, hinting at their rapid progress. โ€œOne song turned into 10 real quick,โ€ he captioned, signaling that their creative chemistry was flowing effortlessly.

The momentum didnโ€™t stop there. In another post, Evan shared a clip of the duo performing alongside singer-guitarist Jacob Bunton (Steven Adler, Mars Electric, Lynam). โ€œWrote this one with our buddy Jacob yesterday,โ€ he wrote, giving fans a glimpse into their evolving project.

Family Approval and Musical Roots

The performance didnโ€™t just resonate with fansโ€”it caught the attention of family, too. Paul Stanley kept it short and sweet, calling it โ€œMagic!!!!โ€ Meanwhile, Nickโ€™s sister, Sophie Simmons, made her excitement clear with a bold demand: โ€œWE WANT THE ALBUM.โ€

Evan isnโ€™t new to the music scene. At 30, heโ€™s already made a name for himself as the frontman of Amber Wild, a band that earned the coveted spot of opening for KISS during their farewell tour.

With experience on major stages and growing support from those closest to them, Evan and Nickโ€™s collaboration is shaping up to be more than just a side projectโ€”itโ€™s a serious musical endeavor.

Nick Simmons’s Creative Background

Nick Simmons has spent plenty of time in the spotlight, but not always in music. The 36-year-old first gained attention on Gene Simmons Family Jewels, the A&E reality show that chronicled life with his famous father. Beyond TV, heโ€™s dabbled in writing, creating the comic book series Incarnate, and even lent his voice to Robot Chicken on Cartoon Network.

While his musical rรฉsumรฉ isnโ€™t extensive, heโ€™s no stranger to the studio. In 2004, he contributed vocals to Gene Simmonsโ€™ song Carnival of Souls. A few years later, he worked with former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick, singing on the 2010 track Hand to the King.

Now, Nick is stepping further into music alongside Evan Stanley. Watch the duo perform with Jacob Bunton in the Instagram clip below.
