Now I Can Get On Board With This!

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose is certainly no stranger to saying exactly what’s on his mind. Whether you agree with his controversial statements or not, none of it seems to make Axl hesitant to continue to make his true thoughts known. This case here is certainly no different, only this time he’s not giving a political opinion, but rather his view on who the greatest rock frontman of all time is, and you might just agree with him, believe it or not!

During a recent interview with Atlas Magazine, Axl was asked just who he thinks is deserving of the accolade of ‘greatest frontman ever’, and his response, honestly, is the same response that a lot of us would have. Here is what he had to say…

 “For me, it’s easy. Queen is greatest band and Freddie is the greatest frontman of all time. The band are the greatest because they embraced so many different styles.”

Like I said, Axl is known for saying many things that’d ruffle some feathers, but who can really argue with him on this one? Freddie Mercury is without a doubt still regarded as one of the most iconic and influential singers in rock history. Even to this day, there’s no one that can come close to the amount of talent that Freddie had.

As you might remember, Axl Rose was part of the historic Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert back in 1992 where he and many other iconic musicians played a plethora of timeless Queen hits.
