We’re Nearing The End!

It’s that time of year again. And no, I don’t mean the holiday season. I’m talking about that time of the year when the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame opens up their ballot for voting for who should be inducted next.

As previously reported when the ballot first opened, Def Leppard lead the polls with Stevie Nicks following close behind, and now as the ballot is just 5 days away from closing, we have a truly better idea of who exactly is going to be winning and/or leading the polls.

As it stands currently, Def Leppard is leading the polls with roughly 504,000 votes with Nicks following closely behind with almost 400,000 votes. Three other acts are also close by in the running for induction as Todd Rundgen currently holds just over 333,000 votes. The Zombies currently hold 300,000 votes, and finally The Cure with roughly 245,000 votes.

The other 10 nominees currently hold a vote-count of 200,000 or less with Janet JacksonDevoRoxy MusicRage Against the MachineRadioheadJohn Prine and LL Cool J leading in that regard while the remaining three stand at less than 100,000 votes.

As we always say, even when it’s this close to the ballot being closed, it’s too early to call, but with that said we have a pretty good idea of where the votes will end up as it’s very unlikely we’ll see a huge shift in rankings. So it’s pretty apparent just who’s going into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame this time around.
