The Reo Brothers live at the Cavern Club, Liverpool - REO Brothers / Youtube

The Fab Four was known to have originated from the locality of Liverpool, England, where they started as the Quarrymen. One of the most instrumental venues in the career of the Beatles was the Cavern Club, where the band frequented at their earlier years, and was spotted by Brian Epstein as well. Originally a jazz exclusive club, it turned into one of the hottest musical venues of the time when the Beatles were slowly making a name for themselves, packing in crowds whenever the band would perform. The band was noted to have performed at the Cavern Club for over 292 times, with the last show on August 1963, after recording their hit single, “She Loves You”.

The Cavern Club eventually had to give way to an underground railway ventilation vent, prompting its demolition. Luckily, dedicated people have rebuilt the club in another area, with 75% of the original bricks from the first Cavern Club reused.

In celebration of Beatleweek, the cover band REO Brothers performs the hit classic “I Saw Her Standing There” in the Cavern Club, giving tribute to the most massive band of all time. Click on the video below to watch the enthusiastic musicians give their best in honoring The Beatles.
