Here’s a thing: Ringo Starr is a genius on the drum set.

In a video done to celebrate Mr. Starr’s induction into the famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, modern-day legendary drummers paid honor and salute to the ever-famous drummer of the Beatles. The likes of Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters, Questlove of the Roots, Tré Cool of Green Day, Stewart Copeland of the Police, Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers all went to perform and say something on the iconic three-piece drum set of Ringo Starr. Take note, these were the drummers who took so much inspiration to Starr’s incredible skills and made it their version of today’s drumming.

The assembly was filled with complimentary remarks from the drummers, who not only analyzed Ringo’s superb playing but also gave praise to the man who glued the Beatles’ songs together.
