Sebastian Bach performed his latest single, “What Do I Got To Lose?”, live for the first time during his recent concert at the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, Minnesota. The performance was reportedly outstanding and was received very well by the audience. A video of the performance, courtesy of Melvin Zoopers, is available for viewing on the internet.

The official music video for “What Do I Got To Lose?” was released by Bach in December 2020.

The video clip exhibits the singer cruising through the desert in a convertible and singing with a full band. Sebastian’s former SKID ROW bandmate, drummer Rob Affuso, joined him for the performance. The clip also features Craig Gass, an actor and comedian, and Suzanne, Bach’s wife, who played the role of a scantily clad car wash attendant. Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera directed the music video.

“What Do I Got To Lose?” was co-written by Sebastian, Myles Kennedy (ALTER BRIDGE, SLASH), and Michael “Elvis” Baskette (MAMMOTH WVH, SLASH), with the latter serving as the track’s producer. Sebastian says the song manifests his current state of mind, a “perfect sentiment” for him right now. According to him, the song is an anthem of coming back and making a comeback. He adds that it is time to lay down the law and to put the hammer down.

For the release of “What Do I Got To Lose?”, Bach teamed up with Reigning Phoenix Music. The single marks his first new music in ten years. He describes the release as an awaited event and is proud of the outcome. He added that he is glad to have a full and complete team of rock and roll professionals on his side with RPM music. Bach also hinted that he has other musicians who have been instrumental to his latest album’s writing and recording process.

Among the other artists who assisted Bach include Orianthi (ALICE COOPER, Michael Jackson), John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Devin Bronson, Brent Woods, Eli Santana, and Jeremy Colson.

Sebastian Bach has told The Aquarian Weekly that his upcoming album would be “heavy” and “a follow-up to [2007’s] ‘Angel Down’.”

He highlights that he is trying to make the best record he has ever done, with a lot of heavy music coming our way.

Bach’s most recent full-length album is “Give ‘Em Hell,” which came out in March 2014. Like its predecessor, 2011’s “Kicking & Screaming,” the album was released through Frontiers Music Srl, which specializes in AOR, a term that once signified a popular radio format but nowadays applies to acts whose airplay is marginal.

In some of his interviews a few years ago, Sebastian had said that his next record would be less musically aggressive and more uplifting and fun. However, speaking to WRIF in 2018, he revealed that he had since had a change of heart. Bach explained that when he put so much time and effort into his last album and did not receive the attention it deserves, he became frustrated and felt he needed help with his next album. He said, “If I’m gonna put out another heavy metal, hard rock album, I need help. I need a company around me that’s gonna put the same kind of attention and time and effort into it as I am. So now that looks like it’s happening. So now I’m changing the way I’m looking at things.”

Fans of Sebastian Bach have welcomed the debut of his latest single, “What Do I Got To Lose?” with much excitement. The performer’s apparent change of heart about his upcoming album marks great potential for heavy rock and metal fans around the world. Bach’s new music features a talented team of musicians, which he has spent eight years working with. Fans eagerly anticipate the album’s drop, hoping that RPM Music will produce more great music, just like “What Do I Got To Lose?”
