The 2nd appearance of the Beach Boys at the Ed Sullivan Show has spurred new changes for the group ever since Brian Wilson quit performing on stage. But what remained for the rest of them was their dynamic exemplary of being one of the greatest bands ever to exist.

Captured in color, the Beach Boys performed at the show back in 1968, almost four years since they first performed there. Back in their usual appearance of matching clothes and harmonious vocalization, the group sang their well-known single “I Do It Again”, with Mike Love on main vocals and Carl Wilson on back-up. They have proved once again that they were never a lousy band, even after the huge trials they have faced at this point due to Brian Wilson’s breakdown from drugs and pressure to write songs.

You can watch their performance here.
