Watch Ghost Cover Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”

Following the recording session of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” cover, Ghost finally debuted a live performance of the song during their show in Reno, Nevada last January 25.

Ghost’s studio version of the cover was a part of 2021 The Metallica Blacklist collection, which showcases a variety of song interpretations of different artists with different genres of their choice from Metallica’s self-titled album, also known as The Black Album. All of its profits will go on Metallica’s non-profit All Within My Hands foundation as well as the chosen charities by the artists featured in the collection.

Ghost’s Reno concert was the opening night of their co-headlining tour with Volbeat. Apart from the concert dates, the band will also release their album, Impera this upcoming March 11.

Ghost’s version was the same as the original Metallica one, although some elements are found to be different. Fans couldn’t help but sing along to its lyrics and be nostalgic for its iconic riffs.
