Creedence Clearwater Revival’s songs will forever live in the annals of music history, no matter how many years have passed. Aside from spawning classic hits like “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” and the anti-war anthem “Fortunate Son,” some of the lesser-known hits like their single “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” from their Pendulum album is another gem worthy to be praised.

“Have You Ever Seen The Rain” is written by John Fogerty, CCR’s lead singer and guitarist. A lot of speculations rose with regards to the song’s lyrics, deeming it as an “anti-war” track, much like its predecessor, “Fortunate Son.” Yet, Fogerty assures everybody that the song came from the tensions between CCR, leaving each of them to feel depressed even though fame and fortune are already there.

Take note that to cover a song so superb and terrific as this one is a bold move because re-creating something valuable is not an easy task. Thankfully, two guys from the Music Travel Love YouTube Channel didn’t even bother to ruin it and instead created a lovely rendition to this ever-magnificent track. Brothers Bob and Clint Moffatt took the song to a whole new acoustic level, and literally taking the edge from other artists by singing this on top of the Grand Canyon. They combined the pleasures of travel and music to make things better and more appealing to their fans. The mellow acoustic of the guitars, as well as the harmonies, are something that’s astonishingly made with love.
