Take a look at the rare video of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble with Jeff Healey sharing the stage with them in 1987. The performance of “Look At Little Sister” uploaded on Healey’s YouTube account can be seen below.

Blues-rock enjoyed its second wave of fame when SRV entered the rock world in full force, bringing with him his talents on blues and proving to everyone that the genre is far too good to be forgotten. But, it wasn’t only the work of one man that blues rose again, in fact, a lot of guitarists spread their wings and rediscovered the powers of blues. Among those that flourished is the Canadian rocker, Jeff Healey.

Healey was well-known for his unique playing of the guitar by laying the guitar flat on his lap. In the video, you can observe him sitting and plucking the instrument. Vaughan, on the other hand, gained his momentum by standing up and delivering riffs while smoothly singing the lyrics for “Look At Little Sister.”

The song is a highlight from Vaughan and Double Trouble’s Soul to Soul album and tells us about the protagonist’s little sister, who’s starting to show signs of maturity in her movements. The clip came from a CBC show entitled It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll.
