Robin Williams Was A National Treasure

There’s no denying the fact that Robin Williams was one of the greatest comedians to ever walk this earth. He was a national treasure who made everyone laugh though his stand-up routines, movies and skits.

One of his more memorable skits, or pieces of material, was when he covered The Beatles “Come Together” with jazz musician Bobby McFerrin. With the help of Beatles producer George Martin, Robin and Bobby recorded a hilarious cover of the all-time classic! The humor behind the inflictions of their voices is perfect, but at the same time, the cover sounds pretty damn solid musically. Robin Williams’ voice is actually pretty good, and the reworked instrumentals make the song a tad bit heavier compared to the original! It’s definitely a great tribute to The Beatles, and really showcases Robin’s wide variety of talents!

Interesting Fact:The whispered lyric that sounds like “shoot” is actually Lennon saying “shoot me” followed by a handclap. The bass line drowns out the “me.” Kind of eerie looking back on it…
