It seems like Guns N’ Roses are gearing up for a new release, as Susan Holmes McKagan, wife of GNR bassist Duff McKagan, shared that the band has music in the works as of present.

In the Appetite for Destruction podcast, Susan said, “I will say GNR have been working fastidiously on some killer new stuff. And I can’t say much, but I’ve heard bits and bobs and it’s pretty epic. I do wanna spread good news, but not detailed news, I guess.” There is still no defined date on the arrival of the album though, or any kind of peek into what the new stuff might sound like.

Slash already revealed earlier this year that the band was indeed working on new material, but didn’t go as far as calling it an album, saying, “Stuff is happening, but there are no specifics. More than anything, it’s because of the nature of the industry right now. It’s just like, how do you want to do this? I mean, there’s material and there’s recording and there’s shit going on, but we’re not really sure what we’re doing with it right now.”

Guns N’ Roses currently has its shows on hold – just like everybody else – rescheduling their supposed spring dates to November instead, with stops that will include Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and several South American Lollapalooza commitments.
