John Fogerty Pays Homage To Tom Petty, & Las Vegas With A Wonderful Cover of ‘I Won’t Back Down’

What a class act!
The month of October began with some tragic events. The month started with a tragic shooting in Las Vegas that left 58 people dead, and over 500 injured at a music festival. Less than 24 hours later, while the world still mourned the victims in Las Vegas, Tom Petty passed away from cardiac arrest at the age of 66. It was a difficult 24 hours, and since then people around the world have been finding ways to help and pay tribute.
Recently, Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty paid special tribute to Tom and the victims of the Las Vegas shooting with a wonderful, rockin’ tribute of Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” Fogerty’s voice sounds amazing in this cover, and his guitar playing, as always, is on point! We all miss Tom very much, but this gives us something positive to listen to, and really shows how much other classic rock artists respected and revered him!
