Greta Van Fleet has released a performance video for “Age of Machine” as the most recent sneak peek into their upcoming album, The Battle At Garden’s Gate.

The new song follows the track “My Way Soon” as the second single from the package, which was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Greg Kurstin, known for his work with the Foo Fighters and Paul McCartney. The new album will be up for grabs on April 16.

This new project is the follow-up to Greta Van Fleet’s 2018 album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, which ranked third on the charts upon release.

“We’ve grown in so many ways,” says frontman John Kiszka. “This album has taught us a lot about life in general, about ourselves, about all of us, about the world we live in.”

“There was a lot of self-evolution happening during the writing of this album that was prompted by experiences I had, experiences we all had, so a lot of contemplation occurred. It’s very dynamic, lyrically speaking. And that’s human experience. It’s much more than pain or fear; it’s also beauty. People need people, and love is important,” he concluded.
