Sir Elton John and ‘Rocketman’ actor who will portray him in the upcoming biopic, Taron Egerton,  perform a duet onstage during the 27th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party sponsored by IMDb and Neuro Drinks celebrating EJAF and the 91st Academy Awards.

The rock n’ roll legend surprised the Welsh actor by inviting him on stage for an impromptu performance. John urged Egerton to sing to which Egerton obliged. Before showing off his vocal chops, he joked with the audience “It’s funny how life turns out, isn’t it?”

The two sang John’s hit 1972 classic “Tiny Dancer”, Egerton sang while John played the piano of course. The 71-year-old music icon, who was donning a glamorous golden, bedazzled jacket, joined Egerton in the song’s second chorus and the audience went wild for it.
