When asked who were the people that influenced the young Vedder, he said: “The stuff that got put in my blender, it got started maybe with Jackson 5 when I was a kid. And then Beatles as a kid and growing up and then The Who took over big time,” he added.

The album is the first of Vedder since his 2011 release of Ukulele Songs. Apart from the record, Vedder is also preparing himself for a solo tour for the promotion. The album, produced by Seattle Surf/Republic Records was officially launched last Friday, February 11.
