Don Felder Teams Up With Styx For Incredible ‘Hotel California’ Performance | I Love Classic Rock Videos

There’s nothing better than two rock artists teaming up to give the audience the show of a lifetime.

A major concert headlined by Styx made happen in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas to celebrate their lifelong success in the music industry. The Live At The Orleans Arena Las Vegas showcased the wondrous talents of Styx, as it features Tommy Shaw on vocals & guitar, James “JY” Young on vocals, Todd Sucherman on drums, Lawrence Gowan on vocals & keyboard, guitar &keyboards, Ricky Phillips on bass & backing vocals, and Chuck Panozzo. They have mostly sung their classic hits like “Renegade,” “Come Sail Away,” “The Grand Illusion,” etc.

While the show was a highlight itself, it wasn’t until ex-Eagles’ Don Felder, as he performed on-stage, made the audience leap of joy when Felder announced Styx’s lead singer Tommy Shaw to join him in performing the iconic Eagles hit, “Hotel California.”

The performance was a battle of gorgeous riffs and amusing vocals from Felder and Shaw, who provided the best show that they could provide for their fans, albeit the clear signs of autotune can be found attached to their voices. Yet, the melodic instrumentation, as well as the harmonies of the duo made it a night that you couldn’t forget.
