Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and producer Greg Kurstin have reunited once more for the eighth and last night of the “Hannukah Sessions,” with an excellent rendition to KISS’ “Rock and Roll All Nite.”

Inside the message that escorted the video, Grohl and Kurstin thanked all the people that helped ramp up the said sessions. “Ladies and gentlemen…. we made it. Night 8!  And what better way to celebrate another year of Hanukkah Sessions than Chaim Witz and Stanley Eisen…. two young lads from Queens that set the world (and thousands of stages) on FIRE as Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS!!!” the message continues.

The cover unfaithfully follows KISS’ original, with a full-blown death metal disposition courtesy of Grohl’s vocals. To make it more “KISS official,” the two did the signature make up of Simmons’ “Demon” look and Stanley’s “Starchild” one.

Apart from the good music, Kurstin and Grohl also shared clips of them doing some everyday activities— reading books, cleaning the house, and drinking Slurpees at a local 7-11 store. It’s a fun ending you shouldn’t miss!

“Hannukah Sessions” is the duo’s annual tradition to celebrate the Festival of Lights by performing a song from a different Jewish artist to mark the night. Since the start of the 2021 Hannukah, Grohl and Kurstin have performed the songs of Lisa Loeb, the Ramones, Barry Manilow, Van Halen, Amy Winehouse, Billy Joel, and The Clash.
