Comedian Kevin Hart Issues Challenge To Fellow Celebrities

We’ve all seen the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey – the latest death toll is at 70 while several survivors were left homeless, without jobs and extremely traumatized. Everyone’s helping out even in the smallest possible way but for comedian Kevin Hart, he used his social media platform and Hollywood status to encourage other celebrities to donate.

The challenge is simple: donate $25,000 and tag a fellow celebrity or friend to do the same.

Of course it went viral. The first $25k would come directly from his pocket. What made his move different from others is that he started a chain to do good. He could have just given the donation and kept quiet about it but he knew how much help the people of Houston, Texas needed and so he found a way to call out other A-listers to lend a helping hand.

It’s heartbreaking to see what Hurricane Harvey left in its wake. Let’s help in any way we can.
