This Could Mean Trouble

It’s not the first time a musician prohibited President Donald Trump from using any of their songs – Neil Young, Steven Tyler, and Adele refused to have their hits played during the campaign period. And The Rolling Stones just became one of the most recent rock acts to call out Trump. He played the 1969 classic track “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and it didn’t sit well with the legendary group.

“The Rolling Stones have never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately.” – Official statement from The Rolling Stones’ publicist

He repeatedly used the song during his rallies and also defied them even after several requests to stop using their hits. It’s clear the band isn’t a huge fan of Trump and as long as he keeps playing their songs, we don’t know what could happen next.
