When Bon Scott passed away in 1980, the future of AC/DC looked incredibly bleak. Fans didn’t know how the band would continue on without that iconic voice fronting the band. But luckily, Brian Johnson came along and was able to capture the magic that Bon left behind.

Although Brian is wonderful, it’s always great to go back and look at the legacy that Bon left behind. We’ve dug up Bon Scott’s isolated vocal track on “Let There Be Rock,” and it’s even better than you can imagine. Bon’s vocals on this track are so gritty, and fit the vibe of AC/DC absolutley perfectly. There truly was no other singer like him!
