Bon Jovi’s founding member and keyboardist David Bryan has tested positive for COVID-19.

Bryan says that he has been in the course of a two-week quarantine period and that he’s feeling better and stronger every day, confident that he will overcome the disease soon.

In an Instagram post, the keyboardist wrote: “I just got my results back today and tested positive for coronavirus. I’ve been sick for a week and feeling better each day. Please don’t be afraid!!! It’s the flu not the plague. I’ve have been quarantined for a week and will for another week. And when I feel better I’ll get tested again to make sure I’m free of this nasty virus. Please help out each other. This will be over soon… with the help of every American!”

Just earlier this week, producer and guitarist Andrew Watt – who was part of Ozzy’s new album Ordinary Man – also tested positive for the coronavirus. These rock personalities are just some of the victims of this pandemic, which ultimately led to the shutting down and postponement of many mass gatherings and crippling the daily lives of countries affected with the spread.
