Whitesnake’s live performances never go out of style. It’s one of the few things which we’re lucky that the internet exists, for videos like the one presented below, show us the highlights of the band’s ever-successful career.

The year 1984 was a glorious one for the British rock band Whitesnake, who finally paid their dues and got well-deserved recognition from the USA. With the release of their 6th album Slide it In, more than four million copies was eventually sold worldwide. And, in contrast to their previous albums, the band provided a more aggressive sound and signified the band’s transition to glam metal. Among the album’s highlights is “Guilty of Love,” a track worthy of listening to.

The song is written by David Coverdale, which he describes as a “simple and an honest love song.” Moreover, it’s one of the two songs that was produced by Eddie Kramer, a producer known for his work with Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, and Jimi Hendrix. The studio version is enough to make you fall head-over-heels with Whitesnake, but nothing beats the live performance of the group, recorded at the Swedish TV Show Mandagsborsen.
