For more than a decade, The Rolling Stones have proven themselves to be live show legends. Check out this surreal June 2022 performance of theirs, recorded live at Olympiastadion, in Munich, Germany, and you’ll know why.

Celebrating a whopping amount of 60 years since the band first started, the Stones have come a long way to establish themselves as true rock performing gods. With that, they’re commemorating their 60th-anniversary tour in Europe that began June 1 in Madrid and continues until July 31 in Stockholm. Original members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood are still alive and kicking, and the death of drummer Charlie Watts is still raw; yet, the band has managed to dedicate shows to him and the masterful beats of his drum kit that Stones surely miss.

The Stones’ second concert of this tour, on June 5 at Olympiastadion in Munich, proved that they are still phenomenal.  Although Jagger had dropped a step or two, his catwalk still rose well above the stadium floor, ensuring that he was the center of attention. Richards and Wood performed as well as ever, expectedly.  Darryl Jones, who has been stepping in for Wyman since 1993, excelled on the Stones’ most disco-like track, “Miss You,” which featured a prominent bass line. Although Watts was the heart of the Stones, Steve Jordan, who has been stepping in for him for the past year, has been holding things down for the band in great style.
