This Kid is The Champion!

This 14 year old kid is a prodigy on ukulele and could play any rock song and crush it on the small instrument. Evan J. De Silva, a Portugese-Singaporean from Singapore discovered his passion and talent for music when he was given a ukulele as a gift in 2013 when he was only 8 years old. And he never stopped playing since. Now, he shares his music on is YouTube Channel and covers classics such as ‘Change the World’ by Eric Clapton and now this amazing rendition of Queen’s “We Are The Champions”.

Evan’s father introduced him to the legendary band and that speaks of giving the right influences with regards to parenting, right? Evan got so good that he even made it to the World Ukulele Championship! He truly is the champion, friends!

His video has gotten much praise with people commenting that his music makes them smile and that he will go places with his incredible musical talent.

Evans says that his dream is “to be able to play so well, that I can spread the feeling of love and joy to those listening, and hopefully… more people will know how amazing this very very underrated instrument is!”

Well it seems like he is well on his way in fulfilling this dream of his. Surely even Queen would approve!
