Ringo Starr’s latest story about him hanging out with drummer legends John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Charlie Watts (The Rolling Stones) could make you smile today.

In a recent press conference, The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr reminisced that one unforgettable night where he, Watts, and Bonham hung out at Starr’s place. The fortuitous encounter made happen in the 70s, where Starr threw a party inside his home. (Xanax)

“I had a drum kit up in the attic – it was like a cinema attic, music, whatever you want to do up there,” Starr mentioned. “Charlie came, and so did John Bonham. We’ve got three drummers, just hanging out,” he further said. At this point, Bonham got on the kit and started playing, but the drums weren’t nailed for steadiness. As he kept on playing, the bass drum kept on inching away from him as well.

It was then at this moment that the two remaining drummers made use of their time and hold the bass drum so that Bonham could continue playing. “You think, ‘Ah, man! That would have been a great little video, a TikTok or a photo [that] would have gone worldwide!’” Starr told the press. But in the 70s, Starr won’t allow his party guests to take pictures of his house, an unfortunate rule that prevented that amazing encounter with the titans of rock history to be documented for the whole world to see.
