For rockstars to outlive most people during their era, age is nothing but a sweet reminder of how far they’ve come. To still stand and perform in front of the largest audience as if it was only yesterday, these people prompt us to believe that good things could still come to you even at a ripe age. Furthermore, we can assure you that the rock artists we’ll mention below are much like fine wine: they only get better as they age. Check out.

Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart is still a major figure in the classic rock industry, and his music is as raunchy and provocative as ever. London-born Stewart originally gained attention as a member of the Jeff Beck Group in the late ‘60s. Now, he is 78 years old.

Roger Daltrey

Roger Daltrey, lead singer for the rock band The Who, is still around and doing music. Daltrey, born in London in 1944, has been a part of the rock and roll scene ever since he and Pete Townshend (now 77), formed the Who in the 1960s. Today, he is 78 years old.

Keith Richards

With the excessive lifestyle that Keith Richards once lived in the past, it came as quite a shocker that he is still alive and doing well today. Richards, best known for his work in the rock band the Rolling Stones, shares the same age as his fellow Stones member, Mick Jagger, at 79.

Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page, the guitar hero of Led Zeppelin, was born back in 1944, yet he is still performing today. Page’s virtuosic guitar playing helped propel Zeppelin to fame in the ‘60s by fusing rock & roll and blues into a very potent and original whole. These days, he’s 79 years old.

Roger Waters

Roger Waters, a former member of the legendary rock band Pink Floyd, is still actively playing the bass. Waters, a native of Surrey, England, achieved popularity in the mid-1960s as a member of the band Pink Floyd. After the success of their albums Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), and The Wall (1979), the band rose to prominence as one of the most popular in the world. As of right now, he’s 79 years old.

Paul Simon

Paul Simon is a multi-talented American entertainer whose work spans the past six decades. As a solo artist and as one-half of the folk-rock duet Simon & Garfunkel with Art Garfunkel, he is one of the most recognized songwriters in popular music. He and Garfunkel are 81 years old today.

Bob Dylan

Phenomenal musician Bob Dylan enters the list of some of the oldest living rock legends today. Celebrating his six-decade-long run in the music business, he is still hailed to be one of the important figures in music. During his heyday in the 1960s, when he released a string of critically acclaimed albums, Bob Dylan continued to perform and release new songs. And today, he is 82 years old.

Ringo Starr

Sir Richard Starkey, better known by his stage name, Ringo Starr, is a musician who rose to popularity as the drummer for the Beatles. He and Paul McCartney, the Fab Four’s bassist, outlive the two members of the group, with McCartney living at the ripe age of 80 years old. Today, Starr is 82 years young.

Phil Lesh

Philip Chapman Lesh was a bass guitarist for the Grateful Dead for their entire 30-year run. After his retirement, Lesh did not stop working in the music business. After the dissolution of the Dead, he has mostly performed with his solo band Phil Lesh and Friends, and as of early 2023, he has been making frequent announcements on his Instagram feed about upcoming tour dates. Today, Lesh is 82 years old.

Grace Slick

Grace Slick was born in October of 1939, as the United States was just entering World War II. After performing at the Woodstock festival with Jefferson Airplane in 1969, she pursued a solo career. Nevertheless, she would eventually reconnect with the band when they were known as Jefferson Starship. Slick is a young and energetic 83 years old right now.
