Ringo Starr Announces Dates For 2020 America Tour

Ringo Starr and his All-Starr band are ready to dominate the stage again with an upcoming 20-show, 15-city tour for 2020. The band’s tour will be focusing on the East Coast for this leg, starting with 2 shows at the Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario on the 29th of May (which are the only non-US dates for this section of the tour), and will end on the  28th of June at the Ruth Eckerd Hall of Clearwater, Florida.

Opening acts will be featured on the July 9-11 and June 26-28 shows with the Americana group, the Avett Brothers, and ex-All Starr member Edgar Winter, respectively. Ringo Starr will be touring with the All-Starr lineup from 2017, which entails Toto’s guitarist Steve Lukather, ex-Santana and Journey singer/keyboardist Gregg Rolie, Colin Hay from Men at Work, Gregg Bissonette, Warren Ham, and Hamish Stuart.

In other Starr news, the Beatles alumnus has just released his 20th solo catalog last month titled What’s My Name. It features a cover from the late John Lennon’s ensemble, “Grow Old With Me”, which has Paul McCartney on bass, and references George Harrison’s guitar work on the classic hit “Here Comes The Sun”.
