Paul McCartney’s Daughter Releases New Fashion Collection Inspired By Yellow Submarine

Paul McCartney’s daughter Stella McCartney has just announced her new collection will be a tribute to her father’s former band, The Beatles, specifically the animated film Yellow Submarine, inspired by the band’s music.
The fashion designer McCartney commented on the fashion line’s announcement, “I hadn’t seen it since I was young, it affected me in a way I just wasn’t expecting. Especially this idea of connecting people and bringing people together – politically this message has never been more relevant.”
The collection has emphasized its ethical and sustainable manufacturing process, and includes offerings like menswear, womenswear, and kid’s apparel, featuring nods and references from the iconic animated film.
Portraits of the Beatles are also included, and are featured on knitwear and patches stitched on the clothes. Even scenes from the film are pulled out and re-imagined for that nostalgic effect, and are present on dresses, button-up shirts, and outerwear.
