Rock & Roll Music May Finally Have Its Day

The relationship between the rock & roll community and the powers that be at the Grammys (Recording Academy) has always been a rather rocky one. Though this hasn’t always been the case, for quite some time now, rock music has often been snubbed in favor of other genres of music such as Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, etc. Understandably, this has annoyed rock fans thus leading to a sort of unofficial boycott of the annual award show. However, 2018 may just be a little different from other years.

All nominees for the 60th annual Grammy Awards Show have been announced and despite the usual favoring of Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B, many of our favorite Rock, Classic Rock, and Heavy Metal artists have found their way onto the list of nominees.
