Journey debuts Todd Jensen, a newly recruited bassist, as the group started their 6-day residency at The Theater at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.

Last year, the position of bass player was suddenly available following the bitter departure of former bassist Ross Valory and drummer Steven Smith. A couple of musicians occupied the role until the band settled on Jensen. Although, no direct confirmation was done on Jensen’s part as the official bass player.

This isn’t the first time that Todd Jensen became a part of the lineup from a high-profile rock band. The musician can be remembered for his work for Ozzy Osbourne, David Lee Roth, and Alice Cooper. Journey congratulated him for becoming a part of the group on an Instagram post.

You can watch the band’s performance with Todd Jensen below.
