Recorded at the Chicago Coliseum in Chicago, Illinois on December 1, it features the band and their impressive 9-song set performance. The roughness of the take is due to the sound not being recorded by a professional. But the state noted that “this performance is provided for your enjoyment and to help present further context into Jimi Hendrix’s incredible performance legacy.” Nevertheless, the audio captured Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell, and Noel Redding’s supremacy to their own instruments.
