Jason Bonham will continue to pay homage to his late father with his series of Led Zeppelin Evening to North American theaters for the Ten Years Gone Tour.

The tour will commence on the 17th of May at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, Canada and end on June 13 at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, Illinois. Tickets for all dates will go on sale on March 6, although a pre-sale has already begun on the 4th of March at 10 AM local time. Concert dates can be found below.

Being Bonham’s solo project – as he also plays for Sammy Hagar’s The Circle – Jason changed its name from the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience to its current name. He said that it was because the original Led Zeppelin requested him to do so, wanting to use the phrase “Led Zeppelin Experience” to honor the band’s 50th anniversary. Bonham shared that it was a challenge to rename the group, which he formed in 2010.

“I was like, ‘Um, okay, but I need to keep the logo, JBLZE,’” Bonham said. “One, I have the tag on my car, and two, I have a huge backdrop that I paid for last year. For me it’s about the music. So the name of it — I just wanted to keep the logo. So I said, ‘I got it. Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening. (societyofrock.com) ’ I don’t know what they have planned, but I said, ‘Okay, I will clear the way so they can do what they wish.’”
