These Are Some Lucky Bystanders!

If you’re a regular at your local farmers market, then you could probably attest to the fact that, for the most part, things are pretty uneventful. You’ve got your normal array of produce, maybe some food trucks, and maybe even some live music. But other than that, just your normal farmers market. Nothing really exciting.

Now, just imagine going to one of these, not expecting a thing in the world, when all of the sudden you’re stopped dead in your tracks by a rock legend and his ensemble making a surprise appearance jamming out some classic tunes.

That’s right! Seattle residents who were at the Pike Place Public Market this past Saturday were treated with some truly amazing live music from Brandi Carlie, Tim & Phil Hanseroth, and of course Dave Grohl. This crew became the attraction of the day by playing an epic acoustic set which included “Let It Be” by The Beatles and “Times Like These” by the Foo Fighters.

As you’d expect, fans and bystanders alike all took out their phones instantly and started filming. Tons of great angles were caught of this talented bunch performing. See for yourself!

I guess it all just depends upon your location. Chances are that if you’re in the Seattle area, then you’re bound to see some amazing impromptu concerts like this one, given all of the amazing musicians from and living there. I’m from San Diego, so I guess it’s slim pickings for us.

Nevertheless, this just goes to show that you shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss your friend’s offer to go the farmers market, because you never know just what you’re gonna see!
