Alice Cooper is treating fans to a vintage performance of the title track from his 1972 album “School’s Out.”

In anticipation of the expanded Deluxe Edition release on June 9, the rock legend shared a video of his band performing the song on the BBC TV show Later… With Jools Holland in 2012. Produced by Bob Ezrin, the album marked the fifth studio release by the Alice Cooper band and featured the iconic title track that became their first US Top 10 hit, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The reissued edition for 2023 includes a newly-remastered version of the original album and exciting rarities like the single versions of “School’s Out” and “Gutter Cat vs. The Jets.” Additionally, fans can enjoy two previously-unreleased tracks—an alternate version of “Alma Mater” and an early demo of “Elected.” The release also features audio from the band’s concert in Miami on May 27, 1972, recorded just before they entered the studio to record the album.

The Deluxe Edition will be available in various formats, including 2CD sets, 3LP versions on 180-gram vinyl, and digital formats. Furthermore, Alice Cooper will also release an expanded Deluxe Edition of his 1971 classic “Killer” on the same date.
