Blue Skies Ahead For ELO Fans

Finally – some good news out of the rock world! It’s been 30 years since Jeff Lynne took ELO on the road for a tour of the United States and this morning we’re pleased as punch to report that the long wait is officially over; that’s right, Jeff Lynne’s ELO are hitting the road next summer for their first U.S. tour in 30 years, a 10-date romp from coast to coast that’ll give fans the chance to see the legend live and up close – some for the very first time.

Lynne’s announcement was received to great fanfare as fans begged for more dates to include their cities, some understandably disappointed that the tour won’t swing their way but still elated for Jeff Lynne’s ELO to make its triumphant return back to the United States after a lifetime away.

In case you were wondering, yes – Jeff Lynne missed all of you just as much as you’ve missed him and songs like “Mr. Blue Sky” and “Turn To Stone,” saying in a press release announcing the tour, “Our audiences are amazing. It’s like they’re in the group. We can’t wait to play for them again.”

The tour kicks off on August 2, 2018 in Oakland, California and wraps on August 24th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a few weeks off before jetting off to Stockholm, Sweden to begin the overseas leg of the tour.
