Progress on Frehley’s New Studio Album

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk,” Ace Frehley shared exciting updates on the progress of his upcoming studio album. Reflecting on his recent touring experience, Frehley expressed his creative inspiration, stating, “I got back off the road. I did a two-week tour of California, which was eight sold-out shows. And I came back, took a week off just to rest and recuperate, and I started getting in the studio. And within six days I had written and recorded five new songs, which is unprecedented for me.”

Frehley went on to discuss his collaboration with TRIXTER’s Steve Brown and Peppy Castro of the BLUES MAGOOS on the new album. He shared, “Me and Steve have been doing a song a day. It’s insanity.” He also revealed plans to include at least one cover song, stating, “If my memory serves me correctly, the last two studio records I did both had one cover on them and one instrumental.”

“Origins Vol. 2” and Future Ventures

Ace Frehley’s most recent release, “Origins Vol. 2,” showcased his masterful interpretation of classic rock songs, paying homage to influential artists who inspired him throughout his career. The album featured an array of iconic tracks, including renditions of songs by The Beatles, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, and more. Collaborations with renowned artists such as Robin Zander, Lita Ford, and Bruce Kulick added a unique dimension to the collection.
