ZZ Top are currently streaming a video performance of their 1971 hit, “Brown Sugar”, which is a rare take slated to be included in their upcoming documentary, That Little Ol’ Band From Texas. The specific performance of the cut from the band’s debut catalog ZZ Top’s First Album was filmed at the iconic Gruene Hall, which is the oldest dance hall in Texas.

The documentary is produced by Banger Films and follows the journey of the three blues heads – Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard – on their quest to become one of the biggest rock acts in the world while maintaining that mysterious atmosphere that got fans hooked from the get-go.

That Little Ol’ Band From Texas will be available on DVD, Bluray, and digital formats, and will include rare clips of interviews of the band members and some high-profile ZZ Top fans such as Billy Bob Thornton and Josh Homme of the Queens Of the Stone Age. Archival footage will also be featured in the documentary.
