Watch Sammy Hagar’s Chicken Foot Perform “Soap On A Rope”

A mini Chickenfoot reunion instantly became apparent when Chad Smith jams with Sammy Hagar, along with surprise guest Joe Satriani. All the details are inside the presented episode below from Hagar’s Rock and Roll Road Trip.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer was the featured guest of the show, and both he and Hagar jammed out inside the host’s studio. With Smith on drums and Hagar on his signature red guitar, the two couldn’t resist playing music and enhancing what they’re good at. Just as you thought that this part couldn’t get any better, Joe Satriani entered the room to everyone’s surprise. Hagar then joked that the two weren’t cheating, or maybe they did, but not on Joe! The trio then began tearing the lyrics and arrangement of the Chickenfoot song “Soap on A Rope” to everyone’s delight.

The video then transitions to a lighthearted interview of Sammy Hagar to Chad Smith, who explained how his “work hard, play hard” attitude completely balances his life as a rockstar.
