Fleetwood Mac surprised the crowd with their performance of the 1969 hit single, “Man Of The World” for the first time in almost 50 years. The band performed the song at their August 11 concert at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

The song was written by the legendary co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, and charted on the UK lists and the 2nd place, while ranking high in Australian charts as well. “We’re going to debut this song now which was one of [Green’s] songs. It’s an honor and a privilege for me to play it for you,” Neil Finn told the crowd.

The band also performed another rare track that they haven’t played since their 1990 Behind The Mask tour. Performed at the second night of their Perth series was “Blue Letter” from the 1975 album Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac added Mike Campbell and Neil Finn into their lineup after the firing of the iconic guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. With this came the promise of playing vintage and rare material on the multi-year tour.
