It’s always nice to hear younger artists play songs from a different generation. Watch and be amazed by Haim’s cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well,” in the video presented below.

Young musicians often get criticized when they try their luck at singing classic songs. But they’re the only ones who could pass on the torch to a new generation, so it’s best to appreciate their efforts of continuing the legacy of these iconic heroes. And with Haim, one of rock’s current frontrunners, they delivered a cover as tasty as it could get.

“Oh Well” is a single from Fleetwood Mac, written by the band’s founder, Peter Green. It’s among the early Fleetwood Mac classics, way before the Buckingham-Nicks inclusion, so it’s quite an underrated albeit fantastic song altogether. Haim, which is composed mostly of Haim sisters – Este, Danielle, and Alana, delivered a strong and pop-influenced twist to it, making it sound more contemporary and appealing to the young fans who are at the event.

“Oh Well” Lyrics:

Can’t help about the shape I’m in
Can’t sing, I ain’t pretty and my legs are thin
Don’t ask me what I think of you
Might not give the answer that you want me to
Now when I talk to God I knew he’d understands
He said stick by me and I’ll be your guidin’ hand
Don’t ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
Oh, well, oh, well, oh, well, well, well, well
Yeah, ooh
Well, we haven’t played anything from Tusk yet
So, we gonna some out tonight for you
And, ah, the first one of which is actually the first track on side one
And it’s called Over and Over
