Toyah Serenades Robert Fripp With ‘Wicked Game’ Cover

At the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, Robert Fripp and Toyah Willcox are active in uploading humorous videos and song covers from Toyah’s YouTube channel. The so-called videos are titled, “Toyah and Robert’s Sunday Lunch.”

For the couple’s latest YouTube upload, it’s a continuation of their Love Letters installment, since the duo has to postpone their cover videos due to Fripp’s busy schedule for the King Crimson’s return on tour.

The start of the video shows Fripp telling the viewers: “Hooray, hooray, my dear little wife has sent me a viddy message, I thought I might protect my eyes before opening it,” referring to the sunglasses he’s wearing.

“Hi baby, come on home. I’m keeping the bed warm for you,” Toyah told her husband before continuing into her cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game”. It was both lovely and hilarious.
