Tom Petty’s team is streaming a previously-unreleased track as the latest sneak-peek into his 1994 album’s expanded edition, Wildflowers.

The song, titled “Confusion”, is the first cut available from the much anticipated unreleased half of the record. Called All The Rest, it dishes out ten songs from Petty’s original recording sessions that were omitted from his second solo album.

Petty originally wrote and recorded the said project as a double album, but his record label convinced him to cut it down and make it a single record instead.

Wildflowers & All The Rest will be available on October 16, which is comprised of the original track listing and tons of extras, including home demos, unreleased songs, and live recordings.

The new Tom Petty collection will be offered in several formats, which include a 5 CD or 9 LP box set, a Super Deluxe, Deluxe, Ultra-Deluxe Limited Edition, 2 CD, 3 LP, and digital versions up for grabs.
