Tom Petty Found Unconscious, Pulled Off From Life Support

Paramedics Rushed To His House after receiving the reports

Legendary rocker Tom Petty was found unconscious and not breathing following a full cardiac arrest in his home in Malibu, California. The Los Angeles County Fire Department officials rushed to his house at 10:45 PM on Sunday and found him in critical condition.

The 66-year old icon was rushed to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital where he was put on life support and his pulse returned. He was eventually pulled off from it due to lack of brain activity.

Last August, he was forced to cancel some shows due to health reasons. Just last week, he finished a long leg of his tour with three sold out shows at the Hollywood Bowl. He also told Rolling Stone that it was going to be the “last big one.”
