With chart-topping hits like “American Woman,” “These Eyes,” and “No Time” in the late 1960s and early 1970s, THE GUESS WHO has solidified its legendary status. Over the course of their career, the band has released 11 studio albums and charted 14 Top 40 hit singles, two of which reached number one in the United States. Despite undergoing numerous member changes

THE GUESS WHO’s latest incarnation has emerged as a powerhouse, delivering a captivating blend of their early hits alongside new creations. Their live performances have evolved into a celebration of life, resilience, and thriving in uncertain times.

Garry Peterson, a founding member, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to THE GUESS WHO, emphasizing his lifelong dedication to the band and its musical journey. He dismissed criticism from former members Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman, who labeled the current lineup as a cover band, stating that his calling is to be in THE GUESS WHO.

“The reason why is because I spent from 1962 to today devoting my entire adolescence and adult life to this band and to the creation of music in this band and the promotion of music created by this band,” Peterson expressed. “So, I think when you’re that heavily invested unless you’re looking for something that you’re not getting out of this band, you would stay in it.”

Despite the critiques, Peterson remains steadfast in his commitment to THE GUESS WHO, highlighting the importance of following one’s calling in life.
