American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow brought in the big guns for her latest single, with names such as Stevie Nicks, Joe Walsh, Vince Gill, and Maren Morris in tow.

Titled “Prove You Wrong”, the energetic country track features the message of women empowerment, in a story of better days for the main character after an apparent break up. Crow, Nicks, and Morris are heard alternating with the lead vocals throughout the track, with a harmonic blending at certain points of the song. Crow even tweeted praise of her collaborators, which can be read below.

The track is part of Crow’s final album, Threads, which will see its release on the 30th of August this year. Crow has gathered on board a star-studded lineup, from the late Johnny Cash’s repurposed lines, Kieth Richards, Don Henley, James Taylor, among others.

In an interview with iHeart Radio, Crow shares her inspiration in bringing these legends on her final venture. “Many of these people, I owned their records when I was seven and eight years old. I mean, I can remember unzipping the zipper on Sticky Fingers, and I remember the cover of Rumours and wanting to look like Stevie Nicks. And who would have thought a young girl from a tiny town in Missouri would wind up working with these people and having relationships with them? So, when it came time to make the record, there was an obvious list of people I wanted to ask. And luckily most of them said yes.”
