Your dad may be cool, but is he “chow down on a cupcake while singing Tom Petty’s “Refugee” AND wishing you a happy birthday from 30,000 feet in the air with his entire band” cool?

Maybe not, but Steven Tyler certainly is! 

The 70-year-old rock legend celebrated oldest daughter Liv’s 41st birthday from his private plane yesterday, breaking out a single cupcake with a candle in it before bursting into a seriously rockin’ version of ‘Happy Birthday’ and wishing his “alpha pup” a happy birthday.

“I’m on the plane with the whole band, I love you so much! And I’m here celebrating your birthday all by myself, ’cause I CAN!” gushed proud papa Steven.

Suddenly, Steven’s private birthday party for one turned into a celebration as The Loving Mary Band joined him in belting out Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ “Refugee,” hooting and hollering up a storm from behind Steven’s seat on the plane and shouting birthday wishes to Liv.

Judging by the photos Liv shared to Instagram, her 41st birthday was every bit as special as she deserves! The 41-year-old beauty appeared bare faced and beautiful with a bunch of pink metallic balloons that spelled out “Momma,” no doubt a gift from her husband, David, and their children.
