A recent video shared by Sammy Hagar’s son, Aaron, showcased a lively gathering at Sammy’s party, featuring none other than the iconic Steven Tyler in what seems to be good health and high spirits.

In the video, Tyler is captured smiling and engaging in conversation with Sammy Hagar.

Aaron, sharing the joyous moments from the night, wrote in the caption:

“The Hagar clan sure can party! The girls shut the place down! Seriously, they locked the gate behind us! But the Monahans were in second place. Such a fun event, and it was alive! Happy New Year everyone! Cheers.”

Tyler, who had faced a setback with a vocal cord injury during a September concert, appeared to be on the road to recovery. Initially believing he couldn’t sing for 30 days, Aerosmith later postponed their final tour to ‘sometime in 2024’ due to the severity of Tyler’s injury. In a September statement, they revealed:

“His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which requires ongoing care. He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.”

By October, a photo shared by photographer Ross Halfin on Instagram showed Tyler playing guitar and smiling. Halfin mentioned in the caption that they spent a day in Los Angeles with Tyler, who’s in recovery and not singing much.

Fans eagerly awaited Tyler’s return to the stage, and his bandmate Joe Perry recently provided some insights.

Perry expressed hope to resume performances later in 2024 after a hiatus due to Tyler’s health. He shared:

“We’re so bummed we missed our New Year’s Eve show. But with any luck we will be back out late summer and fall of 24. And there’s always next New Year’s Eve! Stay tuned for that.”

In addition to the anticipation for live performances, Perry announced exciting news for fans – the band has a trove of new content, including remixes and different versions of songs, slated for release over the next year and a half.
