Motley Crue’s very active bassist Nikki Sixx has just recently updated fans on his social media accounts. Sixx underwent a surgical procedure to fix a rotator cuff on his right shoulder, which is a group of tendons that support the bone of the upper arm to make it stay in its socket.

Sixx, who has been the subject of numerous medical procedures due to his stage antics, posted on his Instagram account. “I officially have 5 cadaver parts in the body now. Finally got the right shoulder repaired. All the rotators were completely torn off the bone. I seem to think it’s a good idea to break things on stage and there for I am always broken. Left knee fixed. Left rotator cuff and bicep fixed.  Hip fixed. Double hernia fixed. And as I said before, right shoulder fixed. Excited to heal up. Health is everything.Ready to get onstage and break stuff.”

This is the second time Sixx has undergone the procedure, after being subjected to the same one back in 2017, on his left shoulder. He also underwent a hip replacement surgery on the same year, months earlier from the first shoulder surgery.

Good news is, Sixx has just been recently discharged on the 3rd of May, updating his fans on his Twitter account with a word of thanks. Sixx is clearly a veteran when it comes to invasive medical procedures, and is spending his sweet time recuperating from the freshly-operated shoulder.

Meanwhile, Motley Crue is still experiencing the aftershocks of their biopic, The Dirt, ever since its release. A film adaptation of their 2001 memoir, the band has seen a rise in their fan numbers, all thanks to the new, younger generation they attracted with the said movie. Motley Crue has been experiencing rising Google Search rankings, and the data gathered from streaming platforms indicate the massive boost The Dirt has done for their career.
