Neil Young has just unveiled the unreleased track from 1974, “Homefires”, as a sneak peek for the November 20 release of his Neil Young Archives Volume 2 (1972-1976).

The song was recorded at the folk icon’s Broken Arrow Ranch in California and is one of the many previously unreleased cuts that are part of the limited edition, a 10-disc package that contains no less than 131 songs from Young’s 1970s run, arranged in chronological order.

The set will be exclusively available on the Neil Young Archives website. It will also contain new unreleased versions of his material, which includes the recently unveiled three-part combo of “Homegrown”, along with the live packages of “Tuscaloosa” and “Roxy: Tonight’s The Night Live”, a rearranged version of “Tonight’s The Night” record with two new cuts, and a live album with Crazy Horse from their London and Tokyo performances.
